The Northern Technical University holds a scientific conference, technically sponsored by IEEE organization, which is represented by IEEE Iraq Section.
The Northern Technical University with Engineering Technical College holds the 2nd scientific confere nce for the engineering specialist during 13-14 in February 2019 technically sponsored by IEEE international Foundation organization.
The opening ceremony was attended by many of the Iraqi Parliament members, university presidents, college deans and many of the lecturer and postgraduate students.
The opening ceremony started by reading of Holy Quran by Dr. Maan Abdul Khaliq then Dr. Moafaq yahieha hamdoon the president of the Northern Technical University delivered a speech on this occasion.
The ceremony program included:
- The speech of Dr. Satar Bader Sedkhan, the representative of the IEEE branch of Iraq.
- Keynote speaker, Dr. Obead Majeed, talk about (improving the octane percentage in gas oil by adding a waste material).
